Cancelled by Facebook?!

My Facebook Account Is Disabled

My original Facebook profile, that I started over a decade ago, has been disabled for reasons unknown to me.  It started when I got a new phone number and was unable to verify my identity as the 2 step verification was set to my old phone number.   Although I tried all the suggestions within the Faecbook "help" section, I was eventually unable to verify my identity within the 30 days given to appeal the decision.   Facebook's customer service is non-existent, and I am very disappointed at the whole process I was forced to weave around needlessly.  Not only did I lose the "creator" status and the ability to receive support from my fans, I lost all the Facebook pages to which I was the administrator.  So I am forced to build it up from scratch, if I choose to, that is.  In the meantime, I HAVE decided to start another account with the username Doug Salvador and the URL as facebook.com/dugsalvador.

I am choosing to view this as a blessing, and a means to start over... yet again, and again, again again.   In May 2022, my entire life's trajectory took an enormous course correction and I am still adjusting and adapting to it's new direction.   In order to grow something new, one must tear down the existing weeds and plant new seeds.  That's the way I'm choosing to look at this particular Facebook inconvenience (and all the other inconveniences and uncomfortable moments since May.)
